10:30 PM 10/18/19 - Tropical Storm Nestor will bring windy and rainy conditions to central Georgia on Saturday.
TIMING: Rain/wind moves in late tonight and early Saturday morning, and continues through pretty much all of Saturday. Tapers off late Saturday evening.
RAIN: 1-3" of rain is possible with locally higher amounts not out of the question.
WIND: 30 to 45 MPH wind gusts are possible with the highest gusts south of Macon. A few localized spots south of Macon could gust up to around 50. It will be breezy enough that a few isolated trees could go down, but at this point we are not expecting this to be a widespread issue.
TORNADO RISK: The tornado threat is very low, but not zero. A quick spin-up can't be ruled out especially for the southeastern corner of central Georgia.
