As Charles Manson's body remain in the Corcoran
As Charles Manson's body remain in the Corcoran State Prison morgue amid a battle over his estate, a picture of him just minutes before his death has been obtained and released by Daily Mail. The grainy photo shows a bald Manson chained to a bed at Kern Medical Center in Bakersfield, California. He passed away on November 19 of natural causes at the age of 83.
Manson's death sentence was commuted to life in prison in 1977, five years after California ruled the death penalty unconstitutional. He was found guilty of seven counts of first-degree murder and one count of conspiracy to commit murder for ordering his followers to kill Abigail Ann Folger, Wojciech Frykowski, Steven Earl Parent, Sharon Tate Polanski, Jay Sebring and Leno and Rosemary LaBianca in 1969. He was also convicted of two other 1969 murders.
