David Rockefeller, the last living grandson of oil tycoon John D. Rockefeller, died this morning at the age of 101. A family spokesperson said Rockefeller passed away in his sleep at his Pocantico Hills, New York home.
Rockefeller spent almost 35 years at Chase Manhattan bank, first as an assistant manager in the foreign department and later as chairman and CEO. He retired in 1980. Chase is now JPMorgan Chase.
