Filmmaker Terrence Malick's latest offering 'Song to Song' earned just one star from film critic Peter Travers. In his review on rollingstone.com, Travers says the movie has "no music in its DNA, not to mention its soul" despite being set in the music scene of Austin, Texas.
"As usual, the images captured by cinematographer Emmanuel Lubezki are gorgeous – but visuals are no substitute for narrative momentum, which is non-existent," Travers writes.
