𝗙𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝗻𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱?
Cool.
Me too.
So how do I get motivated when this happens?
Well, technically I don’t.
Life is busy right now.
My emotions are all over the place.
Happy, excited, scared, sad. Just 𝗮𝗹𝗹 of it.
Wedding planning, moving, running a business, the loss of my fiancé’s grandmother last week, business course, mindset course, working with a coach, working out, tracking macros.
It’s a lot.
The 𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘵 emotion I’m feeling right now is motivated.
Mentally, I’m elsewhere.
Physically, I’m meeting my goals.
Have I managed to workout consistently and hit my macros?
𝗬𝗲𝗽!
But how?
𝘈𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯.
Action comes first. Motivation follows.
That’s what people always get backwards.
They search and search for motivation so they will FINALLY get started on their goals.
You will be waiting forever.
Get started without motivation and watch how motivation follows.
I don’t feel like tracking macros and working out right now.
But I do it anyways.
And guess what?
I always feel better after the fact.
And that keeps me going.
So does the habit.
I’ve put in the reps. Day to day I keep showing up.
I’ve shown up for years. YEARS.
𝘛𝘏𝘈𝘛 is how you create sustainable habits.
Showing up.
Even when you don’t feel like it.
Even when the circumstances aren’t perfect.
Reaching your goals doesn’t just take motivation (honestly, that’s one of the smallest components).
It takes 𝗚𝗥𝗜𝗧. Grinding it out when you don’t want to.
That is what sets those who reach their goals apart from those that don’t.
Take action.
Have some grit.
Crush your goals.
Taking action is hard. But so is staying stuck where you are.
