I do love the weekends of course but there sn
I do love the weekends of course, but there’s something about Monday that I love so much.
Yesterday, I went to Disney for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and had a BLAST! I also ended the day with 24,705 steps/10.31 miles 🥵
While I was there, rode all the rides, watched the fireworks show, took fun pictures, had a big ole burger and fries and when I got home, ate 4-5 pieces of the mini candies they pass out.
NO, I did not have a cheat day. The word “cheat” isn’t in my vocabulary.
I knew I was probably going to go over my macros, but it’s easy to fit days like that into your life and still reach your goals.
I prioritized protein and veggies all day, to keep my calories on the lower side and make sure I would hit my protein. Did the burger, fries, and candy fit into my macros? No, not really.
But that doesn’t mean I messed up, or fell off the wagon. I simply had a day where I enjoyed myself.
So what did I do today? What I normally do! Got up and headed to the gym 😃
I’m not going to over restrict my calories today because one night of going over on my calories is not detrimental. It’s all about having balance friends. ♥️
You are what you do MOST of the time, not what you do some of the time.
So regardless of what your weekend was like, just get right back on track. 🤗
