If you are sad, angry, grieving, bored, lonely, stressed, overwhelmed, or frustrated.... food will not fix that for you. ⁣

It can be a temporary fix, but it won’t solve the real problem. ⁣

If you find yourself wanting to emotionally eat, try finding a solution that doesn’t involve food. ⁣

Go for a walk, call a friend, get outside, meditate, take a break from whatever you’re doing. Allow yourself to feel whatever you’re feeling. ⁣

It takes practice to be able to manage emotional eating, but just keep trying! ⁣

If hunger is not the problem, then food is not the solution.
