If you are sad angry grieving bored lonely
If you are sad, angry, grieving, bored, lonely, stressed, overwhelmed, or frustrated.... food will not fix that for you.
It can be a temporary fix, but it won’t solve the real problem.
If you find yourself wanting to emotionally eat, try finding a solution that doesn’t involve food.
Go for a walk, call a friend, get outside, meditate, take a break from whatever you’re doing. Allow yourself to feel whatever you’re feeling.
It takes practice to be able to manage emotional eating, but just keep trying!
If hunger is not the problem, then food is not the solution.
