Flint's Bishop International Airport closed after officer reportedly stabbed

Flint's Bishop International Airport is closed after an officer was reportedly stabbed.

A man reportedly yelling "Allahu Akbar" stabbed a police officer at Flint, Michigan's Bishop International Airport this morning. The suspect was arrested and is being questioned. The FBI confirmed it is investigating if the stabbing was an act of terrorism.

"We are aware of reports that the attacker made statements immediately prior to or while attacking the officer, but it is too early to determine the nature of these alleged statements or whether or not this was an act of terrorism," the FBI said.

Lieutenant Jeff Neville is the only person that was wounded. He is in stable condition after undergoing surgery at a nearby hospital.
