So someone now has to prove their innocent when someone makes accusations. These accusations were made over 30 years after they are being accused of happening. Lie Detector Tests are not admissible in court, as far as I know. So the legal system does not recognize them.
The FBI has no jurisdiction over these alleged crimes. So what would the FBI investigate?
The FBI conducted an investigation into Kavanaugh already and none of this came up. The Democrats had these allegations at the time The FBI was investigating Kavanaugh and prior to his confirmation hearings. They could have told the FBI then and even asked Kavanaugh. The accuser Ford asked for her name to remain anonymous, and it was later leaked.
Even if her name was never leaked Cory Booker or any of the other Senators could have asked Kavanaugh about these allegations and could have turned things over to the FBI at that time.
Smells weird to me. If Kavanaugh did do this then Bethasda, Maryland can bring charges.
