What makes you fat then? Eating in a calorie surplus consistently. ⁣

What’s a calorie surplus? Eating more calories than your body burns. ⁣

What makes you lose fat? Eating in a calorie deficit consistently. ⁣

What’s a calorie deficit? Eating less calories than your body burns. ⁣

P.S. Your body burns calories outside of exercise alone 😉⁣

Anyways, there is no perfect food, food combination, or elimination of foods that will magically make you lose weight. ⁣

It’s a very simple concept. (I said simple, not easy!) ⁣

So next time Debbie from work tells you don’t eat fruit cause sugar and carbs makes you fat, tell Debbie to shove it. ⁣

Okay maybe don’t do that, but tell her about how we really lose weight! #science ⁣

There are no fat burning foods, and it’s just as silly to call a food a “superfood.” ⁣

Have a well rounded diet, eat in a calorie deficit if you wanna shed some fat, and strength train to preserve that muscle mass. 💪🏼
