This Is What Puerto Rican Pride Looks Like

Boricua pride took over New York City’s
5th avenue on Sunday, as the Puerto Rican Day Parade danced by, with
blaring horns, a multitude of live bands and a sea of
red-white-and-blue flags with a single star. For those who couldn’t
be there, this is what it looked like.

2 Music filled the air

3 Along with shouts of ‘BORICUAAAAAAA!!!’

4 Flags everywhere

5 Beauty queens floated by

6 The kids were out

7 And they’re proud of their heritage

8 Abuelitas showed up too
