Former Alabama QB Blake Sims returns to professional football. It’s been six years since Blake Sims suited up for the Alabama Crimson Tide. After stints in the Canadian Football League and the NFL, Sims is back in professional football. The former Alabama star was a part of two National Championship teams in 2012 and 2013. He led the Crimson Tide to the College Football Playoff Semi Finals in 2014, a loss to Ohio State. For the 2020 season, Sims is headed indoors for his next team. The Spokane Shock of the Indoor Football League, also formerly of the now closed down, long-time Arena Football League, signed Sims to represent the Shock out west.
