Advanced Manual Therapy Institute (http://www.advancedmanualtherapy.com) of Henderson, NV is a physical/occupational therapist owned-and-operated outpatient facility specializing in spine, orthopedic, ergonomics, and hand therapy, performed from a manual approach. Therapy is conducted in a positive atmosphere with highly trained medical professionals dedicated to individualized treatment. By utilizing a “hands-on” approach to therapy, patients are provided with all the tools and education necessary to return to an optimal functioning level. All treatments are unique to every patient’s needs, depending on the patient’s personal goals for therapy.

“We’re very much interested in what the patient truly wants out of therapy, and what their goals are,” says Dr. Jody Stafford. “For instance, there might be a leisure activity like golf the patient would like to return to, but are restricted because of pain level or inability to walk. We base our therapy around those goals to increase their quality of life and what is medically necessary to increase their functional independence.”

In addition there is constant communication between the staff at all times. Advanced Manual Therapy Institute’s team consists of two skilled physical therapists assistants, three massage therapists, and three rehabilitation specialists focused on quality patient care. A patient doesn’t come in and see one person but rather the entire staff; everyone is constantly circulating around, making sure every patient is doing exercises properly. There’s always someone watching, able to attend to a patient’s needs.

Our staff members are all positive, energetic people and they carry that attitude into the work place.
