Empowering is about financial independence, about bodily autonomy, about overcoming barriers, and choosing for yourself. Feeling confident looks different for everyone. And, judging what makes other feel happy won’t make you happy.

Everyone, both those in the industry and outside of it, should be aware of the abuse that’s going on. The sex work industry is not a land of milk and honey. Hence, no one should enter this discussion without doing their research. There are bad and good things, as with any job. But, stigmatization is not the answer.
