The North Charleston police officer who fatally shot an unarmed black man five times in the back has been found guilty of second degree murder and sentenced to 20 years in prison. The death of 50-year-old Walter Scott in 2015 was caught on camera by a bystander. The video shows Officer Michael Slager shooting at Scott as Scott ran away from him. "This tragic event that occurred in seconds has changed the lives of everyone involved. With my actions that day, Walter Scott is no longer with his family, and I am responsible for that," Slager said today in court.
