Chris Bosh Home Robbery Likely An “Inside Job,” Over $300k Worth Of Stuff Missing
While NBC star Chris Bosh was out celebrating his 29th birthday Wednesday night, someone took over $300,000 worth of possessions from his Miami Beach home. Police say Bosh called 911 as soon as he discovered the theft around 12:30 a.m. Thursday. Bosh and his wife Adrienne reportedly discovered their closet ransacked and jewelry drawers empty.
Miami Beach Police spokesman Bobby Hernandez says investigators are “leaning on the side of this being an inside job” because there was no sign of forced entry. Housekeepers and others that have access to the $12.5 million home are being questioned.
An estimated $340,000 worth of jewelry, watches and handbags are missing. The Miami Heat star’s NBA championship ring was not taken. Bosh has not commented.
