Former NFL linebacker Lew Bush died this week, the San Diego Chargers confirmed Friday in a statement. Bush, who celebrated his 42nd birthday last week, passed away Thursday of an apparent heart attack. No other details were immediately available.
Bush was drafted into the NFL in 1993. He played seven seasons with the Chargers before moving to the Kansas City Chiefs. Bush retired from football in 2002 and had most recently been working as a pre-game commentator for the Chargers’ KIOZ radio broadcast.
