Sunday 8:15am:
An absolutely heartbreaking image. All we can do now is pray for those who stayed behind down there. I'll be going live at 8:30am over at Southwest Louisiana Weather.
#IDA is forecast to reach 155mph max sustained winds before landfall which would make it the strongest to hit the state since record keeping began in 1851. The Last Island (1856) and Laura (2020) Hurricanes were tied for 1st but IDA looks to replace them both.
Join me in a few minutes over at Southwest Louisiana Weather for the 1st of the day in marathon live stream coverage of this historical event. Southeast Louisiana, THIS is your Laura.
