Today's naptime story was Twelve Dancing Princesses retold and illustrated by Brigette Barrager. Twelve Dancing Princesses was originally published by the Brothers Grimm in 1812. Barrager's version does vary slightly from the original story, but her changes help make it a story that young children can follow and enjoy.
