Face mask exemption flyers and cards are fake, DOJ says
The U.S. Department of Justice is warning that flyers circulating online that exempt disabled people from wearing face masks are fake.

The Justice Department warned Tuesday that documents bearing its seal and cards claiming that people are exempt from wearing face masks are fake. Reports of fraudulent face mask exemption cards have surfaced online as the wearing of face coverings in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic has taken on an increasingly partisan tone. The cards reportedly list a phone number related to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), aside from the DOJ seal and image of a red, white and blue eagle.
