Missouri hiker shot after hunter mistakes him for a turkey, police say. A hiker in Missouri was injured Saturday after being shot by a hunter who mistook him for a turkey, according to authorities. Officers responded around 12:23 p.m. to investigate a hunting-related incident on the Lewis & Clark Trail at the August A. Busch Memorial and Weldon Spring Conservation Area.
