ISIS has taken responsibility for the shooting that took place in Garland, Texas at the Prophet Muhammad Cartoon Contest. This is the first ISIS attack in the United States. The two gunmen were Elton Simpson and Nadir Soofi, and they were said to be brother's of the terror group. A ISIS radio announcer stated "We say to the defenders of the cross, the U.S., that future attacks are going to be harsher and worse. The Islamic State soldiers will inflict harm on you with the grace of God. The future is just around the corner."

ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attack outside a Prophet Mohammed cartoon contest in Garland, Texas -- and warned of more attacks to come.
