Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz in Custody Battle
Famous Music Couple in Legal Drama
According to a report from TMZ.com, Pete Wentz does not want Ashlee Simpson, his future ex-wife, to have sole custody of their 2-year-old son Bronx. Wentz filed legal papers in L.A. County Superior Court on Monday asking the judge for joint physical and legal custody of their son, apparently in response to Simpson's divorce petition, in which she asks for primary physical custody.
Wentz is also requesting that Simpson pay her own legal bills, because Simpson requested that the court make Wentz cover the legal expenses on both sides.
Although Simpson did not specify an exact separation date, Wentz says that the couple decided to end the marriage about a month ago, on February 9th.
