According to a report from ESPN.com, the Cavs, who struggled last season in the absense of LeBron James, are planning to pick up the former Duke guard with the No. 1 pick and are fielding offers for the fourth pick.
Meanwhile, the Utah Jazz have called the Minnesota Timberwolves in an attempt to secure the No. 2 pick, with the intention of landing Irving or former Arizona forward Derrick Williams.
The Timberwolves, on their end, do not plan to let Williams slip past No. 2 and don't plan on trading Michael Beasley or Anthony Randolph.
