Big Z Released From Hospital
Heat center Ilgauskas Out of Hospital
Zydrunas Ilgauskas, better known by Heat fans as "Big Z", was released from the Hospital on Sunday following treatment for a foot infection. The 7'3" Lithuanian is expected to miss the Heat's highly anticipated game against the Spurs on Monday.
Ilgauskas was treated for the infection after he stepped on a nail in his house on Friday. Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said that the veteran big man was treated overnight and was expected to be released from the hospital on Sunday.
Heat star LeBron James, who was teammates with Big Z back in Cleveland, called Ilgauaskas on Sunday after practice and says that the big man is in good spirits.
