Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban was hit in the face by an unknown object during the fourth quarter of the Mavs' Game 3 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday night.
According to a report from ESPN.com, an object thrown from the Rose Garden stands hit Cuban in the face after Cuban had been interacting with fans behind the Dallas bench.
"I don't know what it was, but something hit me in the face," said Cuban, who reportedly invited the fans to boo him more by holding his hand up to his ear.
After the incident, extra security was assigned to the area behind the Mavs bench, but no other issues were reported.
