Tiger Woods Injured; Out for Weeks
Golfing Great Has Multiple Leg Injuries
Tiger Woods has what he calls a minor injury and will be out for a few weeks. Because of the injury, he will not be playing in the Wells Fargo Championship next week as he had planned.
Woods announced on his website that he has mild sprains of a ligament in his left knee and left Achilles tendon.
The golfing great hurt himself while hitting an awkward shot on the 17th hole during the third round of the Masters, where he finished tied for fourth place.
According to Woods, doctors have advised rest and therapy using cold water.
