The 25/26 Arsenal Kit: Do Fans Like it?

1

The 25/26 Arsenal kit was very awaited by the fans. It was made available for purchase at the beginning of August 2025, and it’s safe to say that some liked it, some didn’t. Everyone was waiting to see how Adidas would work to create this new kit. Most people wanted to see a blend between tradition and modernity. We think that they really managed to combine retro and technology, and obtained some beautiful kits. This article is here to talk about the new kit, and how it was received by the public. Let’s take a look at the home, the away and the third Arsenal shirt. Did the fans like the vintage-gothic inspired detail?

The Home Arsenal Shirt

The home Arsenal shirt brings make some memories with the classic red body and white sleeves model. After the blue accents that were the start of last season’s kit, fans were happy to see red making a comeback. “The Pulse of Our Club” is this season’s slogan, and it sure feels red! This Arsenal shirt also has a feature that might make it extremely unique and valuable in a few decades. There is a Gothic-style “A” that is repeated throughout the shirt, front to back. It points towards the Arsenal heritage, as it’s inspired by the 1949-50Victoria Concordia Crescit crest era.

The vintage-inspired design, paired with the soft recycled polyester finish, makes it a good everyday wear. The whole Arsenal home kit also includes a pair of white shorts and red socks featuring the gothic “A”. It has a slim fit and moisture-absorbent AEROREADY technology. Fans love the bloody red together with the pearly white. All of the details and elements that are creating this shirt make it feel very royal! But, let’s see how the other shirts look, and what elements they are combining.

The Away Arsenal Kit

The away Arsenal kit of the 25/26 season is a beautiful and rich dark navy color. The shirt is covered in a print that seems to be a modern interpretation of lightning. The whole concept behind this kit is that it has a fresh and modern look to it, but it still brings some nostalgia. It takes clear inspiration from the 1995/96 away kit, which was a very loved design by fans at the time. The red Adidas stripes on the shoulder give the away kit a little bit of spice, which makes it unique.

The away kit is completed with a pair of dark navy shorts, with the same red stripes on the sides, and one silver logo on each leg. On the right leg, you have the iconic Arsenal logo, and on the left leg, there is the well-known Adidas logo. The logos blend in seamlessly. Even when the shorts are paired with the shirt, which also has both logos, it still looks good. Although, one trick that Adidas did which probably helped with the harmony, was to place the logos the other way around on the shirt. The white socks that come with this kit simply tie everything together with a fresh and modern bow!

The Third Kit

The cloudy white base mesmerises you as soon as you see the third kit. It is beautifully paired with marron and gold stripes on the shoulders and on the edge of the polo collar. The vibe that this Arsenal shirt has is that of a classic polo shirt. This kit takes inspiration from the Art Deco design and architecture. Everything that has been presented to the fans this season appears to evoke nostalgia. This third kit’s shirt is extremely elegant, and it almost doesn’t look like a football shirt at all! But, the football vibes enter the chat back if you are also wearing the maroon shorts and the white socks.

This Arsenal kit, thanks to its simplicity and elegance, this shirt is going to become the one that people will buy just because of how good it looks. The polo collar, the sophisticated maroon and the gold stripes, all make it look more expensive than it is. If we’re being honest, this would be a great shirt to have in your wardrobe for when you are shooting towards a casual outfit.

The Lifestyle Retro Jersey

Even if this Arsenal kit is planned to be released to the public in November, there have been some information has been leaked about it. It is believed that this kit will pay homage to the iconic ‘bruised banana’ kit from the early ‘90s! From what we know and have seen, the ‘90s pattern is used, but modernised, in this lifestyle retro jersey. A few pictures of the assumed design have been leaked, and the fans cannot wait to see it live. It has a modern twist to it, with some more blue, and the two logos on the chest. The Adidas logo is positioned above the Arsenal one.

The shirt has yellow, as the original design dictates. But, this type of banana is way more bruised! We can see navy and red, stripes and vibrant gradients. It also has a hallucinatory effect to it. But, don’t forget that it is a lifestyle jersey, which means that we won’t be seeing it in the stadium. Now, it’s not all good, because some fans are not fans of this one shirt. Some say that Adidas went too far from the original design. While some fans state that it didn’t even remind them of the ‘bruised banana’ kit. What do you think? Did Adidas do a good job?

Conclusion

The home Arsenal shirt has a classic look to it, which makes it a pretty good investment. The away kit has the nostalgia of the mid-90s. The third kit is the most elegant shirt football has ever seen, which makes it an amazing purchase if you’d like a new everyday shirt in your wardrobe. And, the lifestyle jersey’s price might skyrocket in a few years. So, if we were to draw a line, the season of 25/26 has brought amazing kits for the Arsenal fans.
