Figs😍 a fruit I always try to eat more of but keep forgetting about😅 so because of that I just read up on them in a @medicalmedium blog to remind myself of why they’re so important to include in the rotation (especially right now while they’re still in season!). •

The article says that figs provide the body with incredible energy and vitality, aid in the repair and restoration of the digestive, cardiovascular, lymphatic, reproductive, muscular, immune and skeletal systems, are extremely alkaline, mineral rich, and are one of the highest sources of readily assimilable calcium in the plant world! 🦴 Figs also bind to acids that accumulate as fat globules in the body and flush them out. They act as a powerful laxative, removing toxic waste and mucous from the colon. 🤯 does this not make you want to eat them every day?! •

If fresh figs aren’t available, dried ones are a great alternative. Just make sure the only ingredients are figs. @MadeinNature is a great brand!
