Did you know you can eat tacos, pizza, burgers, ice cream, donuts, cookies, etc. AND still lose weight? ⁣

Did you know that you’re not “unhealthy” if you enjoy those things? ⁣

I thought to lose weight, I had to give up all my favorite foods. ⁣

I thought I had to eat chicken and vegetables at every meal. ⁣

I thought I had to workout everyday and do tons of cardio.⁣

I didn’t think I’d ever lose the weight or keep it off because I didn’t know how I was never gonna eat a burger or some ice cream again.⁣

It wasn’t until I learned about energy balance that I truly started thriving. ⁣

I started tracking macros but still had a lot to learn. ⁣

I learned that I didn’t have to deprive myself of foods that I love. ⁣

I learned that I could reach my goals because I learned moderation. ⁣

I learned that perfection isn’t required. ⁣

Taking extreme routes isn’t necessary.⁣

𝘑𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘺. ⁣

Don’t listen to people who say carbs make you fat, or that you have to do tons of cardio to lose weight. ⁣

Just need a calorie deficit, moderation, consistency, and patience. ♥️
