You are focusing on the WRONG things!
✖️No, your metabolism isn’t broken
✖️No, you don’t need a fat burner, body wrap, or detox
✖️No, you aren’t too old
There is so much conflicting info out there so I get how it is confusing!
Before losing my 80 lbs, I was always searching for the best and fastest way to lose weight.
The best workouts, the best foods, the best ______ (literally anything that I could think of that would help me lose weight.
But let me let you in on a secret….
𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘯𝘰 “𝘣𝘦𝘴𝘵” 𝘸𝘢𝘺! 🤯
Searching for the best way will keep you in planning mode and keep you from actually DOING what you need to do! (TO TAKE ACTION👏🏼)
Your constant desire to research and find the best, or fastest, or easiest way to achieve your goals is what is keeping you stuck.
I know it’s true because I did the SAME THING for SO LONG!!!
There is no right way or best way.
There is the basic principle of fat loss (calorie deficit) and different methods to achieve that principle (flexible dieting, keto, whole30, intermittent fasting, weight watchers, etc.)
The key is to find the method you can adhere to LONG TERM.
Not 6 weeks, not 6 months… think longer like 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗧 𝗢𝗙 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗟𝗜𝗙𝗘!
What are some actionable things you can start doing today?
✔️7-9 hours of sleep each night
✔️Drink enough water that your pee is clear
✔️Set a step goal (7,000-10,000)
✔️Aim for 0.6-1.0 grams of protein per lb of body weight
✔️Eat 25-35 grams of fiber a day
✔️Don’t let the weekends be a free for all
✔️Figure out your maintenance calories by logging your food without change for a week
✔️Subtract 200-500 calories down that number to create a deficit
✔️Be consistent, not perfect
✔️KEEP GOING
So instead of focusing on the best way or fastest way to lose weight, focus on the way that makes the most sense for your lifestyle.
That looks different for EVERYONE.
